Last May our office was in a crisis, as our current landlord told us that we had to vacate our office space within 30 days. in addition, we were going through a healthcare credentialing process that would take up the first week, leaving us only three weeks for this tremendous task. Well, not to worry!
My corporate office contacted The Melby Group and Craig took over our mission. After a meeting describing our needs, Craig narrowed down our search to about four possible locations allowing me to have a quick decision. Within the first week he found us a perfect location. With unprecedented timeliness the contract was negotiated, the buildout started and we were in our new location three days early.

In early 1999, RadiSys Corporation acquired a small division of IBM in Boca Raton. Because this division was located within an IBM facility, we were forced into a very time constrained space search in a real estate market that we were totally unfamiliar with. Though our local ITP.A Broker in Portland Oregon, we were directed to Craig Melby. When I made my first trip to the area to preview potential facilities, Craig had done a lot of up front legwork that made my trip very productive. Throughout the entire search process and subsequent complex sublease negotiations, Craig was always on top of the situation.
Early in 2000, RadiSys acquired another small division of IBM. This acquisition forced us into having to find a bigger facility that could hold both organizations. Again, Craig jumped on the situation, helped us find the perfect facility, and guided us through the lease negotiation process.
Throughout both of these transactions, I found Craig to be an outstanding communicator. I was never left wondering what was going on, and if I did have questions, Craig would always get back to me in a very timely manner.
